Ms. Collins has worked at Collins Engineers since 2006, serving as a Regional Manager in New York and Virginia, Coast Guard Program Lead, Director of Federal Programs, Vice President – Business Development, and Executive Vice President prior to her current position. Prior to that, she served as a Project Engineer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District, Structure Engineer at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic Division, and Structural Engineer at the Navy Public Works Center.
Ms. Collins is the author of several publications, was the U.S. Representative to the Maritime Navigation Commission Working Group 145 “Berthing Velocity and Fender Design,” and managed the short courses for the Smart Rivers 2017 conference planning committee. In addition to PIANC USA, she is an active member of the National Academy of Sciences Transportation Research Board, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Council of Engineering Companies, and the Society of American Military Engineers.
She received her Master in Business Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and her Master of Engineering in Coastal Structures and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University.
