Highlights from the PIANC USA 2009 Annual Meeting & Tour

Major General Bo Temple and Anne Cann recognized the 2009 Class of Fellows: (left-right) Mr. Thomas Ballentine, Dr. Robert Engler, and Mr. John P. Woodley. Mr. Harry Cook also received the Fellow Award, but was not able to attend.

Carlos Gallegos of the Organization of American States - Inter-American Committee on Ports (OAS-CIP) gave an informative presentation on Latin American ports and inland navigation.
  
Major General Bo Temple thanked US Army Corps of Engineers ERDC employees Mr. Edmond Russo (pictured here), Mr. Lyndell Hales, and Ms. Holley Messing for their years of excellent work on the US Section newsletter.

Pittsburgh District's LDP is designed to develop and nurture future leaders through innovation, teamwork and partnerships while giving them the tools and knowledge they need to lead in a dynamic organization. Members of the team are shown here at the networking reception with Major General Bo Temple.
  
The USACE Pittsburgh District organized the technical tour to the Emsworth Locks and Dams on the Ohio River. Attendees are shown boarding the M/V Princess, where project briefings were provided en route.
