Western Region VP Election Update

The election for PIANC USA's Western Region Vice President is underway, with two excellent candidates running for the position on the US Commission that will start in January 2010.

• Ellen Joslin Johnck, Executive Director, Bay Planning Coalition, San Francisco, CA
• Dale Miller, P.E., S.E., Vice President, Director of Project Management, INCA Engineers Inc., Bellevue, WA

The U.S. National Commission, composed of eleven members, is the central governing body of PIANC USA. States that fall under the Western Region include: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Ballots went out during the week of October 5, 2009 to members residing in these states. If you did not get your ballot please contact us (the election closes on November 27). Votes will be tallied and new Western Region VP will be announced in December 2009.
