Make plans to attend the PIANC USA 2010 Annual Meeting and stay for the National Waterways Conference 50th Anniversary Meeting. Separate registration required; discount for PIANC Annual Meeting Attendees.

The PIANC USA 2010 Annual Membership Meeting will take place on September 22, 2010 (8:30am to 5:30pm) in Boston, Mass. We are planning an exciting day of technical presentations and discussions, as well as networking events. Young Professionals (YPs) are invited to come early for a YP "Meet and Greet" Coffee (8:00am), and the day will end with the opportunity to network with National Waterways Conference attendees at the evening cocktail reception (6:00pm).

The Honorable Jo-Ellen Darcy, Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works), and Major General William Grisoli, USACE Deputy Commanding General for Civil and Emergency Operations, will provide opening remarks. The organizing committee is busy putting together presentations on topics such as Innovations in Navigation Lock Design; Performance Indicators for Inland Waterways Transport; Sustainable Waterways Within the Context of Navigation and Flood Management; Ecological Engineering in Navigation — Fluvial Geomorphological Restoration on the Upper Mississippi; Educating the Next Generation of Navigation Professionals; Fluid Mud - Identifying the Bottom; and more!
