Call for Abstracts:
The Board Members of the Pacific Chapter of WEDA invite you to submit an abstract for a technical presentation at our Fall 2010 conference in Seaside-Monterey. Presentations on all aspects of dredging and disposal, navigation structures, environmental restoration, and related topics are welcome and may be sent to Marcel Hermans at marcel.hermans@portofportland.com.

**The deadline for submission of abstracts is July 31, 2010. **

Reservations: Book your reservations prior to October 4, 2010 for the special WEDA Pacific Chapter group rate: $157 per night (single or double occupancy) plus tax, or our Government rate of $ 140 per night (for qualifying government employees).

Location: The Embassy Suites Monterey Bay - Seaside hotel is located just two blocks from the beachfront in stunning Seaside, California. It offers spectacular views at Monterey Bay. Nearby amenities include numerous beaches, the Monterey Aquarium, Fisherman's wharf and Cannery Row.

The hotel is located 2 miles from the local airport or about 70 miles from San Jose. For those driving from San Jose or elsewhere, please consider carpooling with one or more of your WEDA friends!
